TGPSC Releases Group-II Provisional Selection List
782 candidates have been provisionally selected against 783 notified vacancies
Hyderabad: The Telangana Public Service Commission has published the list of provisionally selected candidates for Group-II Services. For the 783 notified vacancies, 782 candidates have been chosen, while one vacancy remains withheld. The provisional list is available on the commission’s official site tgpsc.gov.in.
The written examination was held on December 15 and 16 last year in two sessions each day. Based on the General Ranking List uploaded on March 11 this year and after verification of certificates, the commission released hall ticket numbers of selected candidates across all 18 post codes on its website. “The results hosted are subject to outcome of the orders in writ petition… and if any other WPs are pending before the Courts,” the commission stated in the press note. The notification added that if a candidate was found to have provided false information, or if the selection was held invalid due to any act of omission or commission, the provisional selection will be cancelled at any stage. “They will forfeit all consequential benefits including that of selection,” it said. The commission said that it reserved the right to take any action it deemed fit in line with the provisions notified in the TGPSC Rules of Procedure, published in Telangana Gazette No. 60 dated December 28, 2015.
