TGBIE Extends Intermediate Admission Deadline

Hyderabad: The Telangana Board of Intermediate Education (TGBIE) has extended the deadline for first-year intermediate course admissions for the 2025-26 academic year. The new deadline is August 31, with no further extensions planned.

All principals of govt., private (aided/unaided), co-operative, residential schools, model schools, KGBV, BC Welfare, and junior/degree colleges have been instructed to accept admissions until this date.

The board emphasised that this extension is to ensure all eligible students have a chance to pursue higher education. Parents and students are advised to only take admission in affiliated junior colleges and to verify the college's affiliation status on the TGBIE official website.
