Hyderabad:Telangana Students Joint Action Committee (JAC) chairman, Vemula Ramakrishna on Monday demanded that the government immediately withdraw GO 7, which among other things seeks to transfer fee reimbursement money directly to student accounts. He accusing the state government of attempting to dismantle the fee reimbursement scheme.

Ramakrishna alleged that there was no clarity regarding when the pending fee arrears would be deposited into the students' accounts. “If students agree that they will pay their fees only after receiving the reimbursement funds, will the college managements allow them to enroll? The government is dilly dallying by constituting a committee on fee regulation. Why doesn't the government implement a fee regulation act?,” he asked.
