Hyderabad:Telangana Waqf Board chairman Syed Azmattullah Hussaini has directed officials to take immediate action to safeguard its land from illegal occupation and further encroachments. On Saturday, he inspected several Waqf properties that have been unlawfully occupied.

The inspection covered mosques and graveyards in Attapur, Neknampur, and Narsingi, including Jamia Masjid (Badi Masjid) in Attapur, Dargah Hazrath Gandham Shah Baba, Masjid Gandhamguda, Jamia Masjid, Dargah Hazrath Asadullah Shah in Neknampur, Durgah Roohullah Hussaini graveyard in Neknampur, and the Narsingi village graveyard.

Accompanying the chairman were MLC Mirza Rahmat Baig, local corporators, the Waqf task force team, and the board’s inspector auditor, who assessed the situation on the ground.
