Telangana Uses CCTV to Monitor Practical Exams
Education Commission lauds TGBIE’s use of 8,000 CCTV cameras to ensure fair practical exams and prevent malpractice

Hyderabad: Telangana Education Commission chairman Aakunuri Murali praised the TGBIE’s initiative for using CCTV cameras to uphold the integrity of the practical exams, while reviewing live footage from a government college in Mulugu district.
Murali along with education commission members Prof. P.V. Vishweshwar Rao and Jyothsna Reddy visited the TGBIE head office to review the new command control system.
TGBIE secretary, Krishna Aditya demonstrated how the system operated through over 8,000 high resolution cameras installed in colleges, and explained about it enabled simultaneous monitoring of the examinations, ensuring strict adherence to guidelines and preventing malpractice.
