HYDERABAD: Government Whips who visited the pilot Telangana Public School at Arutla on Friday said the state government planned to set up 100 such schools across Telangana and one Young India Integrated School in every Assembly constituency.

Akunuri Murali, chairman of the Telangana Education Commission (TEC), led the delegation through the campus and explained how these institutions will provide English medium education to children from poor families.

During a presentation, Murali explained that the previous administration neglected the education sector, which necessitated this new focus on quality. He noted that the teaching methods and facilities now rival those found in expensive private institutions. The government removed political influence from the process by creating independent management committees that oversee school operations every day.

The visiting Whips, including Adi Srinivas and Yennam Srinivas Reddy, said the Arutla school was a model for the entire state. They believed the project would change the future of Telangana. Local legislator Malreddy Ranga Reddy joined the group and stated that his government treats education and health as its top priorities to fix past mistakes. Parents and local leaders attended the event to witness the progress of the new system.
