Telangana: Six Injured in Clash Between Two Families Over Land Dispute

Nalgonda: Six persons were injured when two families clashed over a land dispute at Patharlapadu village in Athmakur(S) mandal of Suryapet district on Monday.
According to police, the families of Kuncham Chinna Maisaiah and Kunchem Ravi attacked each other with sticks and stones following a dispute over the embankment separating their adjoining agricultural fields. The clash reportedly broke out when Ravi, along with his family members, went to the house of Chinna Maisaiah, leading to a violent confrontation.
Those injured in the incident were identified as Chinna Maisaiah, Ravi, Venkatanarsamma, Naresh, Ramesh and Manisha. All sustained bleeding injuries during the clash.
Venkatanarsamma, wife of Chinna Maisaiah, suffered serious injuries and was shifted by ambulance to a private hospital in Khammam, where her condition was stated to be critical. The remaining five injured persons were admitted to the Government General Hospital in Suryapet for treatment.
