CM to Unveil Telangana’s Vision at Davos on Jan 20
The Telangana Life Sciences Policy 2026–30 and Telangana AI Hubs will be launched on the occasion, sources said on Tuesday.
Hyderabad:A special event on ‘Telangana Rising’ will be held at the annual meeting of World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos on January 20, where Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy will showcase the state government’s long-term growth vision, investor-friendly ecosystem and transformative development agenda to global leaders.
The Telangana Life Sciences Policy 2026–30 and Telangana AI Hubs will be launched on the occasion, sources said on Tuesday.
The state delegation will host CEOs of leading global companies, industry representatives, and eminent personalities in the programme aimed at promoting the Telangana Rising 2047 roadmap.
Following the launch of the Telangana Rising 2047 Vision Document in December 2025, and the nearly `5.75 lakh crore investments attracted during the Global Summit, the state government plans to showcase its growth vision at WEF 2026, to be held from January 19 to 23. Telangana will highlight opportunities for global businesses across areas such as IT, life sciences, renewable energy, manufacturing.
The event, to be held on the evening of January 20, is said to be designed to position Telangana as a global investment destination by showcasing its progressive policies, impressive growth trajectory, and innovation-led development. The delegation will explain the state's CURE, PURE, and RARE framework, plans to undertake several game changer projects — Bharat Future City, Musi rejuvenation, Regional Ring Road (RRR), Regional Ring Rail, and establishment of manufacturing zones.
The event will also provide an overview of the massive establishment of global capability centres (GCCs) in Hyderabad by the likes of Vanguard, Netflix, McDonald's and L'Oreal.
Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has directed officials to organise this exclusive programme to present Telangana’s rapid GSDP growth, progressive industrial policies, and robust infrastructure, along with the long-term development roadmap envisioned under Telangana Rising 2047, which outlines strategic plans for the next two decades, sources added.
