Telangana: Medak SP Distributes Ex-Gratia Cheques To Deceased Home Guards’ Families

HYDERABAD: Medak superintendent of police D. V. Srinivasa Rao distributed ₹5 lakh ex-gratia cheques, sanctioned by the government to the families of two deceased home guards during a programme held at the district police office on Friday.

The beneficiaries included the family of M. Shivaram who died in a road accident while on duty and T. Mahender who passed away due to a heart attack.

The SP assured their families of continued support from the police department. Learning that Shivaram’s son had completed his B. Tech and was searching for a job, the SP assured assistance. When told that Mahender’s wife was unemployed, Rao assured help to her too.
