Telangana: KCR Likely To Launch Bus Yatra In March 2027
Delimitation of assembly and Lok Sabha constituencies may take place in AP and Telangana: KTR
NALGONDA: Former chief minister and BRS president K. Chandrasekhar Rao is likely to take up a bus yatra in March 2027, BRS working president K. Taraka Rama Rao said. Interacting with media in Nalgonda on Thursday, Rama Rao said the BRS would charge the gear of its car (the party's election symbol), after December 2026, when the Congress government completes three years in office.
The party working president said Chandrasekhar Rao has waited for three years, believing that the Congress government should be given sufficient time to fulfil its promises.
In this regard, he pointed out that the party president has attended only a limited number of programmes since December 2023. Rama Rao asserted that his target is to see Chandrasekhar Rao return as the chief minister of Telangana in the next assembly elections.
The BRS working president disclosed that as per his inputs, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has succeeded in getting an assurance from the BJP government at the centre that delimitation of Assembly and Lok Sabha constituencies would be completed before the general next elections.
Rama Rao went on to disclose that delimitation of Assembly and Lok Sabha constituencies could take place in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, even though the exercise may not be taken up by the Centre across the country.
The BRS working president asserted that employees, youth, and students are dissatisfied with the Congress government. He said this trend will become clear once elections are held for the Warangal-Khammam-Nalgonda Graduates’ MLC seat.
