Telangana Inks Pact with France’s Bordeaux Metropole to Rejuvenate Urban Lakes

Hyderabad:The state government and France's Bordeaux Metropole signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to strengthen lake restoration and water resource conservation here with a focus on coordination among the city's three municipal corporations of Greater Hyderabad, Cyberabad and Malkajgiri.
The agreement was signed during a one-day workshop on lake rejuvenation and water resource conservation, jointly organised by Bordeaux Metropole and the Administrative Staff College of India (ASCI).
Special Chief secretary Jayesh Ranjan inaugurated the workshop, which brought together national and international experts to discuss sustainable water management, lake restoration and innovative solutions to protect urban waterbodies.
