Telangana HC Questions Illegal Layout Approval in Chippalathurthy Village

Hyderabad: The Telangana High Court has directed the panchayat officer of Medak district to explain how panchayat raj officials granted layout permissions for 112.21 acres in Chippalathurthy village, Narsapur mandal.
Petitioners G. Ashok and another individual filed before the High Court assert that, despite submitting a complaint on April 15, no action was taken to investigate alleged illegal entries in survey numbers 58/1–5, 12; 59/30–32; and 40, lands reportedly worth crores. They further allege that the gram panchayat approved a layout on this disputed land.
The court has ordered the officials to respond to the contentions raised in the petition.
