Telangana Governor Extends Independence Day Greetings

The Governor called upon people to remember with gratitude the sacrifices of the freedom fighters who fought with courage and dedication for the country’s independence.

The freedom enjoyed today was the result of the sacrifices and valour of the freedom fighters, Shukla said. He urged every citizen to discharge their responsibility towards safeguarding the country’s independence, sovereignty and unity.

The Governor called for collective efforts to build a stronger and self-reliant Atmanirbhar Bharat. He emphasised the need to ensure that the benefits of development reach all sections of society and called for greater focus on peace, fraternity and inclusive development.

Shukla said that every citizen should contribute to the building of a prosperous and progressive India based on the values of unity, integrity and development. He called upon youth, women, farmers, workers, students and people from all sections of society to play an active role in the nation’s progress.

The Governor expressed the hope that the tricolour would always fly high with pride and that its three colours would continue to symbolise courage, peace and faith among the people.

He called upon the people to draw inspiration from the ideals of the freedom fighters and rededicate themselves to the task of building a Viksit Bharat.
