Telangana Elevates 2 IAS to Special Chief Secretaries, 25 to Senior Roles
11 IAS officers of 2013 batch, 14 of 2017 batch elevated, all retained in posts
Hyderabad: The state government promoted 1996 batch IAS officers Navin Mittal (energy) and M. Dana Kishore (labour) as special chief secretaries, 11 IAS officers of the 2013 batch as special secretaries and 14 IAS officers of the 2017 batch as joint secretaries.
All officers were retained in the same posts after their promotions.
The 11 IAS officers of the 2013 batch who got promotions include K. Shashanka (commissioner, Future City Development Authority), Adwait Kumar (collector, Mahabubabad), Shruti Ojha (director, WCD&SC), T. Vinay Krishna Reddy (collector, Nizamabad), Ch Shivalingaiah (director, protocol), Vasam Venkateswar Reddy (additional chief electoral officer), M. Hanumantha Rao (collector, Yadadri-Bhongir), K. Hymavathi (collector, Siddipet), M. Haritha (collector, Rajanna-Siricilla) and K. Haritha (special secretary, finance).
The 14 IAS officers of the 2017 batch who got promotions include Rizwanbasha Shaik (collector, Jangaon), Mikkilineni Manu Choudary (collector, Medchal-Malkajgiri), Muzammil Khan (on leave), Venkatesh Dhotre (collector, Kumuram Bheem-Asifabad), Santhosh (collector, Jogulamba-Gadwal), Rajarshi Shah (collector, Adilabad), Prateek Jain (collector, Vikarabad), Ila Tripathi (collector, Nalgonda), Sneha Shabarish (collector, Hanamkonda), Rahul Sharma (collector, Jayashankar Bhupalpalli), Divakara T.S. (collector, Mulugu), Kota Sreevatsa (joint metropolitan commissioner, HMDA), P. Katyayani Devi (additional CEO, SERP) and E.V. Narsimha Reddy (additional CEO, Industry & Investment Cell and SPEED).
