Telangana Drug Bust: EAGLE Arrests 12 Fugitives in Coordinated Operation

Hyderabad:The Telangana Elite Action Group for Drug Law Enforcement (EAGLE) said they had arrested 12 persons during a coordinated operation against alleged drug suppliers who had been absconding in multiple narcotics cases registered across various police station limits in Telangana.

Of the 12, three were held in Hyderabad, two each in Cyberabad, Rachakonda and Khammam and one each in Wanaparthy, Siddipet and Karimnagar.

According to the officials, the accused had been evading arrest since the registration of their respective cases. The accused were subjected to due procedures, including medical screening and counselling in the presence of their families, before being handed over to the police stations concerned for further investigation.
