HYDERABAD: BJP Telangana president N. Ramchander Rao will begin a two-day tour of three districts today, starting with Khammam, with the stated objective to strengthen grassroots connections and build momentum ahead of the upcoming local body elections.

BJP state general secretary Gujjula Premender Reddy said the party chief will further visit Bhadradri-Kothagudem and Mahabubabad districts during the tour. Since taking charge, Ramchander Rao has toured eight districts, beginning with his native Nalgonda.

In this tour, the BJP president's itinerary includes meetings with party workers, as well as interactions with intellectuals, farmers and local residents to understand their concerns and boost morale among cadres.

Premender Reddy alleged that public frustration is growing over what he described as the Congress government’s anti-people policies, repeated failures to fulfil promises and poor governance. “Ramchander Rao will engage directly with people, offer reassurance, and listen to their problems and the realities of their daily lives,” he said.

The outreach is aimed at revitalising the party at the booth level and preparing the organisation for a strategic push in the upcoming elections, he added.
