Telangana ACB Raids DSP Bheem Reddy’s Properties in DA Case

The sleuths are conducting raids at more than dozen places at Bheem Reddy’s house and his relatives’ houses in Hyderabad and elsewhere in the State

Hyderabad: The sleuths of Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) are carrying out raids at the properties belonging to the Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Bheem Reddy since Thursday morning in connection with a disproportionate assets case (DA) case registered case.

The sleuths are conducting raids at more than dozen places at Bheem Reddy’s house and his relatives’ houses in Hyderabad and elsewhere in the State. Apart from arresting tainted government officials in connection with a separate bribe case for doing official favours, the ACB has started cracking the whip on the officials who allegedly acquired disproportionate assets.

These raids won appreciation for the ACB for its action against the tainted government officials mostly from excise and prohibition, police and revenue departments. During the raids, the ACB unearthed disproportionate assets worth crores of rupees.

A few days ago, the ACB discovered assets worth Rs.3 crore belonging to Nizamabad district prohibition and excise department superintendent K Malla Reddy. In yet another case, it discovered assets worth Rs. 5.05 crore belonging to the suspended Shamirpet Tahsildar and Sub-Registrar T Sucharita.
