Telangana ACB Arrests 22 Govt. Employees in Bribe Cases in August
Disproportionate assets worth Rs.5.13 were unearthed last month in Telangana: ACB
Hyderabad: Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has registered 31 cases and conducted enquiries in August 2025.
Of these, 15 were trap cases, two related to disproportionate assets (DA) cases, three criminal misconduct cases, seven regular enquiries and four surprise checks. Twenty-two public servants including four outsourcing employees and private persons were trapped and arrested and remanded to judicial custody.
An amount of Rs.2.82 lakh was seized in trap cases of various departments. In DA cases, disproportionate assets worth Rs.5.13 were unearthed last month.
During the period from January 2025 to August 2025, the ACB has registered 179 cases - 108 trap cases, 11 DA cases, 18 criminal misconduct cases, 18 regular enquiries, 21 surprise checks and three discreet enquiries, trapped and arrested 167 public servants including 14 outsourcing employees and private persons.
An amount of Rs.33.12 lakh was seized in trap cases and unearthed assets worth Rs.44.30 crore in DA cases of various departments. In August 2025, the ACB finalized 25 cases and sent final reports to the State government. It finalized 177 cases during the period from January 2025 to August 2025 and sent final reports to the State government.
