The Young India Integrated Residential Schools will be constructed in phases to accommodate the growing demand for admissions, ensuring quality education for future generations.
Adilabad: Government officials are identifying 20-acre land parcels in various districts for establishing Young India Integrated Residential Schools. The government envisions these institutions as a key step in delivering high-quality education to students across the state.
Recently, Adilabad collector Rajarshi Shah and Telangana Board of Intermediate education secretary S. Krishna Aditya inspected government land at Nishanighat on the outskirts of Adilabad town as a potential site for one of the schools. Krishna Aditya directed district officials to finalise a 20-acre plot in Survey No. 38 and submit a detailed proposal.
Additionally, Krishna Aditya, along with district collectors, reviewed proposed land locations in Mancherial, Nirmal, Komaram Bheem Asifabad, and Adilabad districts. The Social Welfare Engineering Wing has been tasked with overseeing land allocation and expediting construction.
Declaring the project as prestigious, the state government is pushing for swift completion of the school buildings to benefit thousands of students. In a broader effort to enhance student welfare, the government has increased mess and cosmetic allowances in government hostels to improve food quality and overall student care.
