Hyderabad: BJP Telangana president and Union minister G. Kishan Reddy on Sunday accused the Telugu Desam, Congress and the BRS, which ruled Telangana and erstwhile united Andhra Pradesh have failed to find solutions to several problems plaguing the state

Going by the outcome of Assembly, Lok Sabha and MLC polls, Kishan Reddy expressed confidence that the BJP will get a chance to serve the people of the state.

After hoisting the party flag on the occasion of its foundation day at the state party office at Nampally, Kishan Reddy said people have been looking towards the BJP as it is evident from 77 lakh voters reposing faith in the BJP in the Lok Sabha elections. “People are confident that the BJP will come to power in the next Assembly elections,” he said.

Asking the party workers to continue the party’s foundation day celebrations till April 14, the birthday of Dr BR Ambedkar, Kishan Reddy asked them to expose the 'slave mentality’ of the Congress and the BRS and how they have surrendered to the AIMIM in the MLC elections. “Both the parties have come together opposing the Waqf Amendment Bill in Parliament and also come together to elect the Majlis candidate in the MLC election,” he said.

Stating that Congress government is facing strong anti-incumbency within 10 months of coming to power, Kishan Reddy called upon party workers, intellectuals, academicians, poets and artists to ‘fight against corrupt-Congress, family-oriented BRS and fundamental Majlis party in the state’.

“The power-hungry Majlis party is behind communal flare up to dethrone Marri Chenna Reddy from the Chief Minister’s office during the Congress rule,” he alleged.

Kishan Reddy expressed hope that the new Waqf Act would benefit the poor and Pasmanda Muslims.

BJP Rajya Sabha member Dr K Laxman said that every BJP worker is hoisting the national flag on the top of their houses, holding meetings with booth committee members and explaining the bold decisions taken by the Narendra Modi government in his third term.
