Survey & Land Records D.I. in ACB Trap
He had demanded Rs 35,000 for issuing a survey report pertaining to land belonging to the man’s mother and aunt. Earlier, Pawan Kumar had allegedly accepted an advance bribe amount of Rs 20,000.
Nalgonda: G. Pavan Kumar, deputy inspector of survey and land records, at the revenue divisional office, Nalgonda, was caught by Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) while allegedly accepting a bribe from a complainant. ACB DSP, Nalgonda range, Jagadish Chandra said that Pawan Kumar was allegedly caught red handed while accepting a bribe of Rs 15,000 from man near the collectorate. He had demanded Rs 35,000 for issuing a survey report pertaining to land belonging to the man’s mother and aunt. Earlier, Pawan Kumar had allegedly accepted an advance bribe amount of Rs 20,000.
The person from whom the bribe demand was made approached the ACB. The bureau supplied chemically treated notes to the complainant to pay as the bribe. Following the arrest, Pawan Kumar’s hands tested positive for the chemical. The ACB arrested Pawan Kumar and produced him before the Additional Special Judge for SPE and ACB cases at Nampally in Hyderabad.
