Buoyed by the stellar comeback in Delhi, the meeting felt the need to give a similar message to voters in MLC polls, which serve as a precursor to the municipal elections to develop a positive trend in the state.
The participants decided to tell the voters about the failures of the Congress government across all fronts, including their failed poll promises.
They lauded party chief J.P. Nadda for the resounding victory in Delhi.
The members expressed confidence that the BJP would come to power in Karnataka and Telangana besides making strong inroads in Tamil Nadu and Kerala.
State unit president and Union minister G. Kishan Reddy appealed to teachers, graduates, intellectuals and unemployed youth to cast their first preferential vote to BJP MLC candidates in the coming elections.
His cabinet colleague Bandi Sanjay Kumar and senior leaders, including Dr K. Laxman, D.K. Aruna, A.V.N. Reddy attended the meeting.
