Hyderabad: The #StandWithHer campaign hosted the seventh edition of its panel discussion series at WeHub here bringing together distinguished voices from cinema, entrepreneurship, public administration and creative industries to discuss the need for workplaces where women experience fairness, respect, equal opportunity and the freedom to have their voices heard.

The discussion focused on the everyday realities of workplace inclusion and the often subtle forms of exclusion that women encounter. The panel explored the barriers women face in accessing leadership opportunities, being taken seriously, receiving fair recognition and remuneration, and being able to speak up without being judged through gendered stereotypes.

The conversation also highlighted the importance of organisational culture, allyship and creating systems that enable women to participate and lead on an equal footing.

The panel featured Charu Sinha, DG of CID, ACB and Women Safety Wing and other dignitaries. Speaking during the discussion, Sinha highlighted that workplace exclusion is often subtle rather than dramatic, and stressed the need to make such inequalities visible and amplify women's voices.

TGSPDCL Chairman and Managing Director, Jitesh V. Patil highlighted the growing presence of women in the power sector and expressed pride in the contribution of women working across the industry.

The discussion emphasized that building inclusive workplaces requires more than policies on paper. It requires everyday changes in how organisations listen to women, evaluate their contributions, distribute responsibilities, recognise leadership and create opportunities for advancement.

#StandWithHer is an ongoing year-long initiative designed to promote dialogue on gender equality by creating spaces where men and women can engage in honest and constructive conversations.

Through a different theme each month, the campaign seeks to inspire understanding, raise awareness and encourage positive social change.

The discussion on “Inclusive Workspaces – Everyday Fairness, Respect & Voice: Women Leadership and Remuneration” reinforced the idea that truly inclusive workplaces are built through everyday actions — by listening to women's voices, challenging stereotypes, ensuring fairness and creating systems where women can lead, contribute and grow.
