Hyderabad: The spot valuation process for this year’s SSC exams started on Monday across 19 locations. Sangareddy collector N. Siva Sankar Reddy visited the local government high school and formally launched the work on Tuesday. The process will continue till April 15.
Commissioner of government examinations E. Krishna Rao extended his greetings to the participating staff statewide. Several evaluators got paid for their evaluation work from last year on April 3 evening, after Deccan Chronicle reported on the issue.
Delayed payments had been an ongoing issue for years now, evaluators complained. Nonetheless, following the payment before the evaluation of this year’s papers started brought some relief to thousands of examiners who had Rs 6,000 to Rs 11,000 due till April 2 this year. Officials had informed the delay was due to administrative blocks and pending approvals from the finance department.
