Software Engineer Arrested for Duping It Job Aspirants
He cheated several IT job aspirants making false promises of providing junior developer and software engineer positions in the firm.
Hyderabad: The Central Zone Task Force busted a fake IT job racket with the arrest of the mastermind, software engineer Kaluva Bharghav, here on Monday.
Bhargav, 34, an MTech, was picked up by the task force from his house in Chintal in the early hours. He revealed during interrogation that he had established a bogus software company styled as ‘Neogen Soft Tech Solutions’ at Madhapur.
He cheated several IT job aspirants making false promises of providing junior developer and software engineer positions in the firm. He collected huge amounts from the aspirants by issuing forged appointment order copies, said Y.V.S. Sudheendra, DCP (Task Force).
He said that he would collect resumes of aspirants from coaching consultancies against payments. Later, he conducts online interviews. Believing it to be a genuine company the aspirants ended up paying `two lakh, Sudheendra further said.
The accused was produced before the court for judicial remand.
