Sikhs Commemorate 349th Martyrdom Day of Guru Teg Bahadur Sahibji

A large gathering of devotees participated in a Vishaal Kirtan Darbar at the Sitaphalmandi municipal ground, where prayers were offered to the Guru Granth Sahibji. The event, organised by the Prabhandak Committee of Gurudwara Sri Guru Singh Sabha, included recitation of Shabad Keertans and Kathas.

Religious figures, including Bhai Binder Singhji Taantisaaz wale and Giani Nishan Singhji Gandiwind, Baba Buddha Saheb and other Ragi Jathas, invited from various parts of the country captivated the audience with their spiritual performances.
The committee emphasised the significance of Guru Teg Bahadur Sahibji's martyrdom as a symbol of ultimate sacrifice for religious freedom and human rights. The annual observance aims to honor the Guru's legacy and inspire a spirit of compassion and communal harmony.
Later in the evening, a Nagar Keertan procession was taken out from the gurudwara. The procession, featuring the Guru Granth Sahib, religious flags, and the Panj Pyaras, passed through the main corridors of Sitafalmandi. Sikh youths from Kalgidhar Dashmesh Jatha and other Gatka Jathas showcased their skills.

The event concluded with a traditional Guru-ka-Langar (community lunch) served to all attendees.
