Eight Held With 13 Kg Deer Meat Near Shadnagar Toll Plaza

Shadnagar: The Special Operations Team (SOT) police detained eight persons for possessing nearly 13 kg of deer meat near the Shadnagar toll plaza on Monday morning.

According to police, the suspects were intercepted during a vehicle inspection when the officials found the deer meat in their possession. Police also seized a rifle from the group, suspecting that it was used for hunting.

All eight persons were taken into custody for questioning. Police are investigating the source of the meat and the circumstances under which the deer was hunted.
