Sexual Medicine Society of Telangana Launches 2026 Chapter

Hyderabad: The Sexual Medicine Society of Telangana (SMST) on Tuesday launched its 2026 chapter with a renewed focus on promoting scientific awareness on sexual health, addressing myths and encouraging evidence-based medical practices. Dr G. Venkataramana assumed charge as president and Dr Raghavender Kosgi as secretary.

The society said it would work to improve public awareness on sexual health, keep medical professionals updated with the latest scientific developments, and promote evidence-based practices in sexual medicine. It also aims to reduce the stigma associated with sexual health issues through education and public outreach.
