Hyderabad: A security guard was arrested for kissing a software engineer in Gachibowli on Tuesday.

According to reports, the woman, a native of Visakhapatnam, works as a software engineer in Hyderabad’s IT corridor and was staying at a hostel in Gachibowli’s Indiranagar.

The incident occurred around 10.30 am when she was about to get into the cab. The security guard allegedly dragged her aside and kissed her without her consent. She shouted, following which the man fled the spot.

The woman later approached the police and lodged a complaint. Police registered a case and examined CCTV footage from the area.
