Hyderabad: Personnel of SDRF 5th Battalion in Mulugu carried out a daring rescue at Jampanna Vagu, saving three devotees who were drowning while taking a holy dip, during the Medaram Sammakka -Saralamma Jathara,.

The team rescued a 36-year-old person and two minors between 14 and 13 years from Bhupalpally. The SDRF personnel acted swiftly, risking their lives to pull them to safety. Responding to the rescue operation, the families expressed heartfelt gratitude to the rescue team.

Commending the bravery, Commandant K. Subrahmanyam lauded the SDRF team for their courage and dedication, reaffirming that SDRF remains on high alert to ensure devotee safety during Medaram Jathara.

The officials advised devotees to remain cautious, avoid deep waters, and strictly follow safety instructions issued by authorities.
