Modi To Flag Off Charlapalli-Thiruvananthapuram Amrit Bharat Express

The train will certainly help the passengers going to various religious place including Guruvayur, Sabarimala and Sree Padmanabha Swamy Temple in Thiruvananthapuram

Hyderabad:Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off the Amrit Bharat Express train service between Charlapalli and Thiruvananthapuram North on Monday. This will be the second Amrit Bharat Express service for the city. The Prime Minister will participate in the inaugural event in Kerala.

The inaugural run of the train will begin from Thiruvananthapuram North to Charlapalli on Friday at 10.45 am. The special inaugural service will halt at nine South Central Railway stations.

The train service on this route is expected to witness high occupancy, catering primarily to the large population of Keralites residing in the city and tourists.

The Amrit Bharat Express is a low-cost, non-air-conditioned service with sleeper and unreserved coaches. It will operate as a weekly superfast express, with stops at Nalgonda and Miryalaguda among other stations.

The train will depart from Charlapalli at 7.15 am on Tuesdays and arrive at Thiruvananthapuram North at 2.45 pm on Wednesdays. In the return direction, the weekly service will leave Thiruvananthapuram North at 5.30 pm on Wednesdays and reach Charlapalli at 11.30 pm on Thursdays.

The train will halt at Charlapalli, Nalgonda, Miryalaguda, Sattenapalli, Guntur Junction, Tenali Junction, Bapatla, Ongole, Nellore, Renigunta Junction, Tiruttani, Katpadi Junction, Jolarpettai Junction, Salem Junction, Erode Junction, Tiruppur, Coimbatore Junction, Palakkad Junction, Thrissur, Aluva, Ernakulam Town, Kottayam, Changanasseri, Tiruvalla, Chengannur, Mavelikara, Kayamkulam, Karunagappalli, Kollam, Varkala and Thiruvananthapuram North.
