RWAs Meet Highlights Key Civic Issues across Quthbullapur, Medchal

The Commissioner directed all departments concerned to take up the identified issues on priority, coordinate with the respective agencies wherever required, and ensure timely resolution for the benefit of residents

Hyderabad: Several civic issues related to repairs to damaged manholes, clearing of blocked drains, road repair works and new and non-functional street lights were figured during the interaction with RWAs of Quthbullapur and Medchal by the officials from Cyberabad Municipal Corporation (CMC) here on Tuesday.

As part of the One Day, One Ward initiative, the CMC Commissioner G Srijana along with the Zonal Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner, and officials from various departments, visited the residential colonies in Quthbullapur Zone, Medchal Circle and Gundlapochampally Ward and interacted with residents.

Apart from discussing roads and drainage works, the residents highlighted other problems including mosquito menace, fogging, sanitation equipment, stray dog nuisance, water supply and waste management.

The Commissioner directed all departments concerned to take up the identified issues on priority, coordinate with the respective agencies wherever required, and ensure timely resolution for the benefit of residents.

The team interacted with residents and RWAs, conducted a field inspection, and reviewed key civic issues requiring immediate attention
