RTC Driver Injured as Bus Hits Stranded Vehicle in Karimnagar

 Karimnagar: An RTC bus rammed into another bus that had stalled after meeting with an accident on the national highway in Tadikal in the Shankarapatnam mandal of Karimnagar district on Tuesday. There were no major casualties. The passengers were rescued and sent in other buses to their destinations.

Police said one of the buses, belonging to the Warangal depot and heading towards Hanamkonda from Karimnagar, hit an electricity pole and stopped near an agricultural well. The 43 passengers escaped without injuries.

Another bus, from the Bodhan depot and heading towards Karimnagar from Hanamkonda, carrying 37 passengers, hit the stranded bus. The driver of the second bus, Raghavendra, sustained minor injuries.
