Present at the event were RPF Director-General Sonali Mishra, South Central Railway general manager Sanjay Kumar Srivastava and Amit Garg, director of the National Police Academy.
This year’s competition saw 24 bands participate, from state police forces, Central armed police forces, and other uniformed services. A total of 1,307 band personnel —1,083 men and 224 women — showcased India’s rich tradition of police band music and ceremonial heritage.
