RPF, GRP Teams Conduct Checks At Nampally Station

Hyderabad: Special teams from the Railway Protection Force (RPF) and Government Railway Police (GRP) conducted extensive checks using Papillon biometrics equipment at the Nampally railway station on Wednesday. “The teams carried out checks to ensure safety and security of passengers,” Kalpana, CI Kachiguda railway police station, said. “Searches were conducted at waiting halls, circulating areas, inside the trains, passengers standing on the platforms and their luggage,” Kalpana said.
Advanced Papillon equipment was used to identify suspicious looking persons loitering on the platforms, she said. The security measures were taken to ensure the passengers reaching their destinations safely, she added.
