Road Encroachments Cleared in Gachibowli to Ease Traffic Congestion

Hyderabad: Authorities carried out a road encroachment removal drive in Gachibowli on Saturday, aiming to improve traffic flow along one of the city’s busiest stretches.

The Town Planning Wing of the Cyberabad Municipal Commission (CMC), with support from law and order police and traffic personnel, undertook the operation from Botanical Garden Junction to Madhapur Mazid Banda.

Officials said the drive focused on clearing unauthorized roadside encroachments that were obstructing vehicular movement and pedestrian access. The initiative is part of ongoing efforts to reclaim public road space and reduce congestion in the IT corridor.

Authorities also warned that strict action will continue against illegal occupations to ensure smoother traffic movement and public safety.
