HYDERABAD: BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao on Saturday accused Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy of implementing the ‘Rahul Bandhu’ scheme while weakening the ‘Rythu Bandhu’ scheme and Telangana farmers.

Addressing BRS leaders at meetings in Sircilla and Vemulawada, Rama Rao said Revanth Reddy had pushed Telangana deep into debt and farmers were suffering because of government neglect. “There are power cuts, it has become difficult for farmers to buy fertilisers. While farmers are facing shortages of gunny bags, Revanth is busy sending money bags to Rahul Gandhi,” he alleged.

“The people are vexed with the Congress government whose first half has proved to be a disaster. When the first half of a movie is bad, you know what the second half will be even more hopeless. That is how this Congress government is,” Rama Rao said.

Expressing confidence that the BRS will return to power after the next elections, Rama Rao called on all BRS workers and leaders to ensure that no genuine voter gets excluded during the special intensive revision of electoral rolls in the state.
