Revanth Updates AICC Of Party’s Winning Streak

HYDERABAD: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Monday informed the AICC leadership about the party’s winning tempo in the state since it was elected in the state. The ruling party won all bypolls conducted in the state including Secunderabad Cantonment and Jubilee Hills and secured majority of sarpanch posts in the first and second phase of gram panchayat elections.
The party high command reportedly appreciated Revanth Reddy for the success and asked him to follow a similar strategy for the ensuing GHMC polls in Hyderabad and mandal and zilla parishad polls in rural areas.
The Chief Minister and other state Congress leaders reportedly informed the AICC leaders that the Congress has strengthened its cadre in many districts since the party formed government in 2023.
In the third phase of panchayat polls, the party leaders said that they are in constant touch with local cadres and are confident of winning the majority of the posts.
The newly-formed District Congress Committees (DCCs) are working hard in monitoring the gram panchayat elections by forming new village-level committees. A similar activity will take place in Hyderabad ahead of the GHMC elections.
The AICC leaders reportedly also asked the state leaders to focus on strengthening the party’s affiliated wings and their activities in the state.
