Revanth to Lead Solidarity Rally at Secretariat Today
The rally will see participation from ministers, government officials and the general public to express their gratitude and solidarity with the armed forces
Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy will lead a solidarity rally from the Secretariat to Necklace Road at 6 pm on Thursday in support of the Indian armed forces airstrikes against Pakistan. The rally will see participation from ministers, government officials and the general public to express their gratitude and solidarity with the armed forces.
Revanth Reddy along with Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka on Wednesday reviewed the arrangements for the solidarity rally. Revanth Reddy asked officials to plan meticulously to ensure the rally's success and urged the public, particularly the youth, to come out in large numbers to show their support.
"This rally is a symbol of the people's collective appreciation for the bravery of our armed forces," said Revanth Reddy. "We want to send a message that, as a nation, we stand united behind our soldiers."
He said the rally was an opportunity for the people of Telangana to express their gratitude to armed forces’ airstrikes against terror bases in Pakistan. Hailing Operation Sindoor, Revanth Reddy added, "As an Indian citizen first, I stand strongly with our armed forces. The strikes against terror factories in Pakistan and PoK make us proud. Let us make this a moment for national solidarity and unity, and all of us speak in one voice—Jai Hind!"
It may be recalled that Revanth Reddy had led a candlelight rally on April 25, from People's Plaza to the Indira Gandhi statue, Necklace Road, to protest the terror attack on Indian tourists in Pahalgam. At that time, the Chief Minister had demanded strong action from Prime Minister Narendra Modi against Pakistan and called for the merger of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir with India.
