Revanth to Launch Indiramma Housing Phase II, Address Public Meeting in Kagaznagar

The Chief Minister is expected to lay foundation stones for works worth ₹112.14 crore

ADILABAD: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy will attend a series of official programmes in Komaram Bheem Asifabad district on June 1, with arrangements completed for a public meeting at Kagaznagar X Road.

According to officials, the Chief Minister will arrive by helicopter at Kothaguda village at 5.45 pm. He will participate in a mass housewarming ceremony of Indiramma houses in Kolam Kotari gram panchayat of Kerameri mandal and launch the second phase of the housing scheme. He will also interact with beneficiaries in the district before proceeding to the public meeting at Kagaznagar.

Minister for housing and revenue Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy will attend the programme.

Congress leaders have undertaken mobilisation efforts for the meeting, including participation of self-help group members. The meeting has been scheduled in the evening in view of prevailing high temperatures.

Mancherial MLA Kokkirala Premsagar Rao coordinated party leaders in the district for the event.

Tourism minister Jupally Krishna Rao inspected arrangements at Kagaznagar on Sunday. He was accompanied by MLA Gaddam Vinod, MLC Dande Vittal, former MLA Atram Sakku, district collector K. Haritha and superintendent of police Nitika Pant.

The Chief Minister is expected to lay foundation stones for works worth ₹112.14 crore, including a solar power plant at Nambala village in Rebbena mandal, development works in Asifabad and Kagaznagar municipalities, and five 33 kV substations in the district.

Police have made security arrangements in Kothaguda village in view of the visit.

After the meeting, the Chief Minister will proceed to the residence of MLA Kokkirala Premsagar Rao in Mancherial before returning to Hyderabad by road.
