Nalgonda:Malkajgiri MP Etela Rajender on Monday criticised Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, accusing him of backtracking on promises made to the public and surpassing his predecessor K. Chandrashekhar Rao in neglecting commitments.
Addressing a media conference in Miryalaguda, Rajender expressed disappointment over the administration of the Congress government. He highlighted the dissatisfaction among people and teachers, accusing the government of failing to clear pending allowances promised to educators.
“Teachers and non-teaching staff in Model Schools and Tribal Welfare Schools are not receiving salaries on time. This has led to growing frustration among the education community,” Rajender stated.
Indirectly responding to criticism from Congress MPs over the Union Budget, Rajender reminded them that the Centre does not formulate state-specific budgets. He urged Congress leaders from Telangana to understand the broader scope of national budgetary planning.
