During the invitation, the Chief Minister urged the Prime Minister to designate the Bengaluru–Hyderabad corridor as a Defence and Aerospace Corridor, citing Telangana’s rapidly growing sectoral capacity.
Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Wednesday directed officials to extend invitations to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union ministers for the Telangana Rising Global Summit, scheduled to be held at Bharat Future City on December 8 and 9. The Chief Minister reviewed the summit arrangements at the Integrated Command Control Centre (ICCC) in a meeting attended by ministers and senior officials.
During the review, Revanth Reddy said that the inaugural session should feature the Prime Minister along with key Union ministers. He instructed officials to prepare a comprehensive list of business leaders and distinguished personalities from India and abroad to ensure timely dispatch of invitations. The Chief Minister said arrangements must be made without any lapses, keeping in mind the stature of the invitees and the global attention the summit is expected to attract.
Officials informed the Chief Minister that invitations had already been sent to around 2,600 participants. They also presented the designs of the stalls to be set up at the venue. The Chief Minister stated that the stalls representing infrastructure, welfare, industry, healthcare and other sectors must be designed with utmost care to effectively showcase the state’s strengths.
Revanth Reddy directed officials to adhere to the planned roadmap for finalising investment-related agreements during the summit. He instructed them to prepare a clear schedule for speakers addressing sector-wise issues during the plenary sessions and to allocate time slots in advance to ensure the smooth conduct of discussions.
The Chief Minister further ordered the appointment of senior IAS officers as in-charges for each major event within the summit to ensure accountability and streamlined coordination. He also suggested organising a drone show and cultural programmes aimed at enhancing Telangana’s brand image before global delegates.
Revanth Reddy instructed officials to finalise all designs and layout plans related to the summit by the end of the month. He stressed the need for meticulous preparation to project Telangana as a forward-looking and investment-ready state.
