Republic Day Special Photo exhibition displayed by Salar Jung Museum
An exhibition showcasing photographs of the Constitution and of its drafting committee and freedom fighters, organised at the Salar Jung Museum for Republic Day, appeared to have served its purpose. For several visitors, it was an educative experience, unfolding for them several new facets. Among the exhibits was a copy of the original Constitution was displayed.
Ramani, a guide lecturer at the museum, explained the purpose behind the exhibition "Our goal is to educate the public. Every special occasion, we try to display something related to our culture and heritage. Visitors from different states come here, so this exhibition helps them learn how we celebrate Republic Day.”
She also added “We aim to show who was involved in drafting it. Seeing the Constitution in book form helps people understand where our rules come from.” Visitors found the exhibition educational and inspiring.
