Railways Revise Timings of Janmabhoomi Superfast Express; Special Trains Extended

New schedule to take effect from February 15; weekly special services extended to manage Sankranti rush.

The South Central Railway has revised the timings of the Visakhapatnam–Lingampalli Janmabhoomi Superfast Express (12805/12806), with the new schedule coming into force from February 15, according to a statement issued by Zone CPRO A. Sridhar on Friday.

As per the revised timings, Train No. 12806 (Visakhapatnam–Lingampalli) will depart Visakhapatnam at 6.20 am and reach Lingampalli at 7.15 pm. In the return direction, Train No. 12805 (Lingampalli–Visakhapatnam) will leave Lingampalli at 6.55 am and arrive at Visakhapatnam at 7.50 pm.

Meanwhile, the South Central Railway has announced the extension of several weekly special trains to cater to the increased passenger rush during the Sankranti festival season. The Secunderabad–Anakapalli special train (07041) will run on January 4, 11 and 18, while the Anakapalli–Secunderabad special (07042) will operate on January 5, 12 and 19.

The Hyderabad–Gorakhpur special train (07075) will run on January 9, 16 and 23, and the return service Gorakhpur–Hyderabad (07076) will operate on January 11, 18 and 25, the railway authorities said.
