Raghu Vamsi Group Ties Up With UK Centre For Telangana Super Alloys Facility
The partnership will focus on advanced manufacturing, super alloys and single crystal castings, drawing on AMRC’s research and innovation capabilities.
Hyderabad: Hyderabad-based Raghu Vamsi Group is planning a super alloys facility and research and development centre in Telangana to support its expansion into aerospace and defence manufacturing. To build the required technological expertise, the Group has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the University of Sheffield’s Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre (AMRC) in the UK.
“The collaboration will help us build the technology foundation for the super alloys sector, with the vision of making Telangana a global leader in super alloys,” said Vamsi Vikas Ganesula, managing director, Raghu Vamsi Group, in a release.
The partnership will focus on advanced manufacturing, super alloys and single crystal castings, drawing on AMRC’s research and innovation capabilities. It will also help strengthen the Group’s UK operations through digitally enabled manufacturing processes and improvements in supply-chain efficiency.
The two sides will explore ways to improve logistics, inventory management and the environmental impact of material movement between the UK and India. The collaboration will also support workforce development through apprenticeships and skills training. The MoU will remain in place for an initial three years.
