Rachakonda CP Rescues Homeless Woman

Hyderabad: Rachakonda police commissioner G. Sudheer Babu on Thursday helped shift a homeless woman to a care facility in Abdullapurmet. The CP spotted the woman wandering in Hanumasainagar when he alerted the local police.

Uppal Police identified the woman as Padma.

"With care and dignity, she was relocated to Aleti Aashram, Abdullapurmet, where she will now receive shelter and support. The unwavering commitment of our law enforcement to protect and serve the most vulnerable in society," Rachakonda Police wrote on 'X'.

It was reported that Padma was earlier admitted in Aleti Aashram but had left on her own will. While no other details were immediately available, police said Padma spoke in English and seemed educated.
