PR AE Caught Accepting Bribe
According to the ACB, the AE, identified as Jagadeesh, demanded the bribe from contractor Kaveri Raju of Bayyammapalli village, Odela mandal, in connection with the construction of a ₹15-lakh CC road in Vennampalli village, Kalva Srirampur mandal.

KARIMNAGAR: Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials arrested an assistant engineer (AE) from the panchayat raj department on Saturday in Kalva Srirampur mandal, Peddapalli district, after he allegedly accepted a ₹90,000 bribe from a contractor in exchange for official favours.
According to the ACB, the AE, identified as Jagadeesh, demanded the bribe from contractor Kaveri Raju of Bayyammapalli village, Odela mandal, in connection with the construction of a ₹15-lakh CC road in Vennampalli village, Kalva Srirampur mandal. Acting on a tip-off, ACB officers instructed Raju to hand over the money on the main road outside the Mandal Parishad Office in Kalva Srirampur, where they caught Jagadeesh red-handed.
