Hyderabad: BC Welfare Minister Ponnam Prabhakar urged the people to enroll for the upcoming graduate MLC elections.
He was speaking after participating in a program to register eligible graduates' voters at Teachers Colony in East Marredpally here on Friday.
“As vote is a weapon, the graduates must enroll to take part in the MLC polls. The voter enrollment would continue till November 6,” he said.
The leadership has announced Sama Ramohan Reddy as the Congress candidate for Hyderabad, Ranga Reddy and Mahabubnagar districts graduates’ constituency. The Minister said the Congress was working to solve the problems of all graduates, including the unemployed, employees, lawyers, doctors and others.
Just as Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is fighting to protect the right to vote, every graduate should register their vote and take part in the elections.
