Karimnagar: Transport minister Ponnam Prabhakar on Wednesday said all pending works at the P.V. Vignana Vedika Park in Vangara will be completed ahead of next month’s birth anniversary of former Prime Minister P.V. Narasimha Rao.

The minister inspected the ongoing works along with district collector Chahat Bajpai and said the government would ensure readiness of the memorial for the event, including sanctioning additional funds if required. He directed officials to expedite construction of the photo gallery and conference hall, stating that delays would not be acceptable in completing the project.

Prabhakar said Narasimha Rao’s contributions included the establishment of the Navodaya school system and added that proposals have been submitted to set up a new Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya in Vangara.

Earlier, the minister visited Bheemadevarapalli to lay the foundation stone for additional classrooms and infrastructure at a Kasturba school. He said strengthening rural education infrastructure remained a priority.

The government aims to complete the memorial works and expand school infrastructure in the Husnabad constituency as part of its development plan.
