Efforts on to trace stolen bike of armed assailants from MGBH parking lot

Hyderabad:Police teams have reportedly seized the motorcycle that two persons used in a `93-lakh heist in Bidar, and rode into the city with, on January 16. Sources said the bike was seized after analyzing footage from 350 CCTV cameras.

According to sources, the two persons, reportedly identified as Manish and Amit Kumar, shot two personnel who were refilling cash at an ATM in Bidar. One of the personnel died, the other has been hospitalised in Hyderabad.

After the shooting, the duo abandoned the bike in Bidar and travelled to the Telangana border in a stolen autorickshaw. After some time, they returned to Bidar, picked up the bike and rode to Hyderabad along with the booty.

They abandoned the bike at the MGBS parking lot, and went to a Roshan Travels travels office to purchase bus tickets to make their getaway. When manager Mohammed Jahangir demanded their ID proof and wanted to check their luggage, they opened two rounds of fire at him.

Sources said the duo then went to the Secunderabad railway station and then towards Trimulgherry before police lost all trace of them.
